In addition to gigs Friends of Folk are proud to offer CD’s & Music from some fantastic artists, which can be delivered across the UK.
Established in 2005 Friends of Folk has been promoting folk music in a variety of venues ranging from full sized theatres to village halls and social clubs. It is, and always will be, a not-for-profit organisation. It started with what was intended to be a one-off gig at Preston Guild Hall with Steeleye Span legend Maddy Prior, but that night was too good not to repeat and over 200 gigs later it has been one of the most satisfying ventures I have been involved with.

Friends of Folk always has an exciting range of forthcoming gigs and you can book tickets at the ‘Ticket Sales’ page on this site. They are held in the central Lancashire area in and around Leyland and in west Lancashire at The Atkinson in Southport.
